2026 Team

Ainsley is a third year Neuroscience major on the Pre-Med track at the University of Virginia. In addition to being a CPR Instructor with CavsCare, Ainsley is a certified EMT with Delta Response Team and a member of the UVA CORE Scholars Program. Ainsley is also an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Jacob Resch’s lab, where she specializes in sports-related concussions, working directly with Division 1 athletes to advance education, screening, and prevention of traumatic brain injuries. Outside of her academics, Ainsley is an accomplished equestrian, riding with UVA’s Eventing and Dressage Team and coaching Equestrian Vaulting.

Connor is a third year at UVA majoring in Neuroscience on a Pre-Med track. He is an EMT at Lake Monticello Rescue Squad and conducts Alzheimer’s research in the Neuroscience department. Connor is also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon pre-medical fraternity and enjoys volunteering at UVA Health’s cancer center.

Heather is a third year from Waynesboro, VA majoring in Economics and Sociology. As well as CavsCARE, Heather is involved in Be Somebody and Chi O. Heather loves to go shopping and to read.

Karan is a third year student at UVA majoring in Neuroscience on a Pre-Med track. He went to high school in Vienna, Virginia, but has lived in five different countries. Outside of CavsCARE, Karan works as an EMT with Western Albemarle Rescue Squad in Crozet and is involved with neuroscience research in Dr. Ali Guler’s lab, where he studies feeding patterns in relation to circadian rhythms. Karan is also a member of the Phi Delta Epsilon pre-medical fraternity and serves as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry I and II under Dr. Frantz. Aside from academics, he enjoys watching and playing sports, especially Formula 1 and basketball.

Ava is a first year studying economics from Arlington, Virginia. In addition to working with CavsCARE, Ava is a part-time research analyst intern and volunteers at West Minister Child Care Center through Madison House. Ava enjoys hiking and hot yoga in her free time.

Ella is a first year from Long Island, New York on the Pre-Commerce track. Aside from CavsCARE, Ella is a part of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, 180 Degrees Consulting, TAMID Group, Medical Business Exchange, Quantitative Traders, and Alpha Phi. Additionally, she runs her organization The Heart and Sole Foundation to promote heart health among student athletes and raises money to donate AEDs to facilities in need.

Bailee is a second year from New Providence, New Jersey, majoring in psychology. Outside of CavsCARE, Bailee is an EMT, Admissions Intern, and undergraduate researcher. In her free time, Bailee enjoys crocheting, trying new food spots, and photography.
